Third Time’s a Charm

Kate came over last night after she got off work. It was a nice night, so we took a walk around the block. We didn’t get to far before she started tell me her decision. She was looking for the words, and smiling so I could tell it was going to be good news. So said “So……yeah,” to which I replied “yeah?” while grabbing a hold of her hand. “Yeah.” She replied.

We both stopped walking and looked at each other. “I Love You.” she said. “I Love You too.” I replied. Then she told me “Man, this is your last chance.” I laughed a little, and said “I wont mess it up this time.” “You are so lucky.” she said. “I know” I replied. Then she told me we shouldn’t worry about the future, but just live “In the Now.” Which is a good idea, at least for us.

After that we walk to a little park by my house and swang on the swings and talked for an hour or so. It was goodtimes. Then we walked back to her car, said goodnight and she went home.
So Kate and I are back together!

I told my roommates. Raymond said, “I figured it would happen, I can only see you with Kate.” Alan said, “I knew it, I was telling Ashley that this weekend!” Nick just told me congratulations and started talking about Carol(yn). Simon just made a obscene gesture while saying “Giggity! Giggity!”

Here’s to third chances, and to Kate and I.
