Can you fly without ID?

Trying to get past airport security and unto an airplane without showing ID doesn’t seem like the smartest thing to do. Or is it?
Jim Harper of the Department of Homeland Security’s privacy advisory committee did just that, and was successful!
This sounds exciting, I’m going home this week and I will most likely be flying back next Sunday night, so I think I might give this a try.
