Not moving to London

Tuesday, June 26th, 2007

I finally heard back from Last.fm about the job in London on Monday.
Unfortunately, it would be to costly and time consuming to obtain a work permit for me to work in the UK so I will not be moving to London.
While I believed (and still do) that Last.fm would have been a good fit [...]

Myspace: Time to move on.

Friday, June 22nd, 2007

Don’t you love how its nearly impossible to read some peoples Myspace pages because the background picture is visible through the transparent boxes?
Isn’t it cool how random hot girls who you don’t know constantly send you spam friend requests?
It’s a testament to Myspace’s awesomeness that even the owners of 23″ wide screen monitors still [...]

Facebook Application release 2

Wednesday, June 20th, 2007

I’ve been learning a bit more today, and I’ve made my application completely object oriented, as well as integrating both brodrigu.net and trippin blogs (denoted by either a blue or green icon respectively).

For those of you who are not familiar with Last.fm, they are a social music company that run a web service that tracks what music you listen to , and uses that information to show show who your favorite artists / songs [...]

For those of you who don’t know, I had an interview in London on Thursday for a position as a php developer at an awesome social music site. I will have a post about the interview in the near future (probably on Monday).
I am currently waiting to hear whether they offer me the position [...]

Music from Regions Beyond

Saturday, June 2nd, 2007

Tiger Army releases their forth full length album, “Music from Regions Beyond” on Tuesday. I have been looking forward to this album since the release of their last album, “III: Ghost Tigers Rise.” There were a few tracks I liked on their last album but I thought it lacked the full featured quality of their [...]
